Bring your workshop, class or facilitated experience to a beautiful West Los Angeles venue — without taking on a traditional venue rental. You create the experience. We provide the space, ticketing, promotional support and event staff.

Kama is a wellness and community space in West Los Angeles designed for intimate classes, workshops, conversations and shared experiences.
Our revenue-share format gives facilitators an alternative to paying a large venue rental upfront. We handle the event page, ticket collection and on-site check-in while you focus on delivering a memorable experience.
Bring your practice, knowledge or creative experience to life
Kama works especially well for participatory workshops and experiences that encourage movement, learning, creativity, wellbeing or connection.

Simple revenue sharing
Rather than renting the venue at a fixed event rate, ticket revenue is shared between you and Kama.
Facilitator / Musician
You receive 60% of the ticket price for tickets sold to your event.
Kama
Kama receives 40% of the ticket price for providing the venue, staff, amenities and promotional support.
Booking Fee
Tickets are sold through an event page on Kama's website. A 9.1% booking fee is added on top of the ticket price and retained by Kama to cover credit card processing and ticketing administration.
The booking fee is separate from the 60% / 40% revenue split.

Kama is fully equipped for facilitated experiences, talks, movement workshops, sound-based events and intimate performances.
Professional Audio & Stage
World-class audio system, 27-inch-high stage, stage lighting, microphone, projector and screen.
Flexible Room Setup
Audience seating, lounge seating or a combination of both, depending on the format of your workshop.
Movement-Friendly Space
Sprung floor, acoustically treated walls and a fully air-conditioned room suitable for movement, teaching, music and facilitated group experiences.
Lighting & Atmosphere
Stage lighting plus ambient color-changing lighting throughout the space to help create the right atmosphere for your event.
Guest Amenities
Four restrooms and filtered water stations available for attendees throughout the event.
Outdoor Roof Deck Option
Depending on the event format and availability, the outdoor roof deck may also be incorporated into your experience.
Facilitator Parking
Complimentary on-site parking is provided for the facilitator.
Event Page & Ticketing
We'll create an event page on the Kama website and handle online ticket sales and payment processing.
Promotion
Includes an Instagram Story, inclusion in our Instagram upcoming events calendar and weekly email, plus a repost of the Story you create when you tag @kama.well.
On-Site Staff
One Kama staff member will be present during your event to assist with guest check-in and general event support.
A few things to know before booking
Mornings, afternoons & select evenings
This revenue-share option is available for morning and afternoon workshops any day of the week, as well as Sunday through Thursday evenings.
Friday and Saturday evening bookings are also available, but are subject to a higher venue minimum. Please enquire for details.
Up to 90 minutes
Workshops may have a maximum programmed duration of 90 minutes.
15-minute arrival window
The actual workshop begins 15 minutes after the listed event time. For example, an event listed for 7:00pm begins at approximately 7:15pm.
This gives guests additional time for traffic, parking and arrival. The timing will be clearly noted on the event page and confirmation email.
You choose your ticket price
You can determine the pricing for your workshop. We generally recommend a minimum of approximately $20 Early Bird and $25 General Admission.
30 minutes before + 30 minutes after
Your revenue share includes up to 30 minutes of setup before the scheduled event time and 30 minutes of strike following the event.
Additional setup or strike time is billed at $25 per 15 minutes.
Every attendee purchases a ticket
Because ticket revenue supports both the facilitator and the venue, every person attending the workshop requires a ticket, including friends and family.
$120 booking deposit
A $120 booking deposit is required to secure your event date. This also represents Kama's minimum venue payment for the workshop.
The deposit is returned to you together with your facilitator payout following the event.
Your deposit is fully refundable until 14 days before the event. If you cancel within 14 days of your scheduled event date, the deposit is non-refundable.
We handle the payout
Ticket proceeds are collected by Kama. Following your event, we'll email you a revenue summary showing ticket sales and your facilitator share.
Your 60% facilitator payout, together with the return of your $120 booking deposit where applicable, will be sent via Zelle within five business days after the event.

Give your event time to fill
We do not provide refunds or move an event to another date because registrations are lower than expected.
Please keep in mind that guests frequently register on the day of an event — including shortly before the scheduled start time — so advance registration numbers do not always reflect final attendance.
