Kama is a wellness and community space in West Los Angeles designed for intimate classes, workshops, conversations and shared experiences.
Our revenue-share format gives facilitators an alternative to paying a large venue rental upfront. We handle the event page, ticket collection and on-site check-in while you focus on delivering a memorable experience.

Simple revenue sharing
Rather than paying a large fixed venue rental upfront, ticket revenue is shared between you and Kama. We handle the event page, ticketing, guest check-in and agreed promotional support.
Facilitator
You receive 60% of Ticket Revenue from tickets sold to your event.
Kama
Kama receives 40% of Ticket Revenue for the venue, staff, amenities, ticketing infrastructure and promotional support.
Guest Booking Fee
A 9.1% booking fee is added to the ticket price at checkout and is paid by the guest. Kama retains this fee to cover payment processing, ticketing administration and related transaction costs.
The booking fee is separate from the 60% / 40% Ticket Revenue split.

Flexible Room Setup
Audience seating, lounge seating or a combination of both, depending on the format of your workshop.
Movement-Friendly Space
Sprung floor, acoustically treated walls and a fully air-conditioned room suitable for movement, teaching, music and facilitated group experiences.
Lighting & Atmosphere
Stage lighting plus ambient color-changing lighting throughout the space to help create the right atmosphere for your event.
Guest Amenities
Four restrooms and filtered water stations available for attendees throughout the event.
Outdoor Roof Deck Option
Depending on the event format and availability, the outdoor roof deck may also be incorporated into your experience.
Facilitator Parking
Complimentary on-site parking is provided for the facilitator.
Event Page & Ticketing
We'll create an event page on the Kama website and handle online ticket sales and payment processing.
Promotion
Includes an Instagram Story, inclusion in our Instagram upcoming events calendar and weekly email, plus a repost of the Story you create when you tag @kama.well.
On-Site Staff
One Kama staff member will be present during your event to assist with guest check-in and general event support.
A few things to know before booking
Mornings, afternoons & select evenings
This revenue-share option is available for morning and afternoon workshops any day of the week, as well as Sunday through Thursday evenings.
Friday and Saturday evening bookings may be available, subject to a higher venue minimum. Please enquire for details.
Up to 90 minutes
Workshops may have a maximum programmed duration of 90 minutes.
15-minute arrival window
The programmed workshop begins 15 minutes after the listed event time. For example, an event listed for 7:00pm begins at approximately 7:15pm.
This gives guests additional time for traffic, parking and arrival. The timing will be noted on the event page and confirmation email.
You choose your ticket price
You determine the ticket price for your workshop. We generally recommend a minimum of approximately $20 Early Bird and $25 General Admission.
30 minutes before + 30 minutes after
Your revenue-share booking includes up to 30 minutes of setup before the scheduled event time and 30 minutes of strike following the event.
Additional setup or strike time is billed at $25 per 15 minutes.
Every attendee purchases a ticket
Every person attending requires a ticket, including friends and family, unless Kama has approved an exception in writing.
Attendance must remain within the venue's approved capacity and any agreed room setup.
$99 booking deposit
A $99 booking deposit is required to secure your event date. It also supports Kama's minimum venue payment of $99 per workshop.
Kama earns the greater of 40% of Ticket Revenue or $99. If Kama's 40% share reaches $99, your deposit is returned in full with your facilitator payout. If it does not, the portion needed to reach the $99 minimum is retained and the remainder is returned.
Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel more than 14 days before the event. If you cancel within 14 days of the scheduled event date, the deposit is non-refundable.
We handle the payout
Kama collects ticket proceeds and will email you a revenue summary after the event. Ticket Revenue means the base ticket price collected, excluding the 9.1% booking fee, and less any approved refunds, chargebacks or payment reversals.
Your payout includes your 60% facilitator share, plus any refundable portion of the $99 booking deposit. Payment will be sent via Zelle within five business days after the event.

Give your event time to fill
We do not provide refunds, waive the $99 venue minimum or move an event to another date because registrations are lower than expected.
Guests frequently register on the day of an event, including shortly before the scheduled start time, so advance registration numbers do not always reflect final attendance.
Kama may cancel or modify an event where required for safety, venue operations, severe weather, government restrictions or circumstances outside of reasonable control. In that event, Kama will work with the facilitator in good faith to reschedule or refund amounts paid for the affected booking.
